Youngstown SCORE

The Youngstown SCORE Chapter provides FREE confidential counseling to an existing small business or new entrepreneur residents of Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Mercer and Lawrence counties.

There are nearly 35 Mentors in the Youngstown Chapter with decades of executive and entrepreneurial experience that can be aligned to meet your business needs. The Youngstown offices have been helping companies' startup and expand since 1965.

Our offices are located in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University. You can find us on the Youngstown SCORE Google Places Map.

SCORE's small business mentors, comprised of active and retired business men and women, provide clients with 100% FREE and confidential business counseling. Counseling can be conducted at the client's place of business, at our chapter headquarters, by telephone or via email. Our experienced executives leverage their industry background, checklists, and relevant examples to help your business start or grow.

Youngstown SCORE consultants and community representatives conduct a variety of regularly scheduled, FREE or very low-cost educational workshops that provide valuable information and techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful company.

Here is a list of scheduled SCORE events. The topics are comprehensive from "What is a business plan?" to "How to start a business?" to securing government contracts and integrating technology such as building websites and search engine optimization (SEO).

We also encourage our clients to review the programs hosted by the public library.  You can visit the calendar of training programs from here.
